Welcome to the beautiful Riverina region; the largest wine producing region in NSW which also producers a quarter of Australia’s wine. This region is well known for its bottles of Botrytis Semillon, its rich soil and fertile farm lands, it’s diverse landscapes, the birthplace of cricketing legend Sir Donald Bradman, its European history, food and wine trails, and paddock to plate experiences. The largest town in this region is Wagga Wagga which is considered to be the cultural centre of this region whereas the town of Griffith is considered to be the food and wine centre of this region. Wagga Wagga hosts the annual Riverina Food and Wine Festival. Some of the local delights to enjoy in this region include nuts, citrus, rice, vegetables, cheese, salami, cereal crops and liquorice.
