Wow, what a region this is. The North West region has some of the most spectacular and vast outback scenery in all of Australia which is best taken in by scenic flight and 4WD trips. This region is home to some famous sites including the Kimberley, Pilbara, Cable Beach, Christmas Island, Bungle Bungle range, King George waterfalls, some of the oldest artworks on earth and many National Parks. When in Broome you should learn about the pearl farming industry, taste the Broome pearl meat and take a famous camel train ride along the stunning 22-kilometre white sand Cable Beach. The best way to take in the sweeping splendour of the Bungle Bungle Range and its massive domes is by scenic flight. Take a cultural tour in Cape Leveque, enjoy bush tucker, go game fishing for cobia, tuna, Spanish mackerel and sailfish, or hunt for mud crabs. You can fish for the mighty Barramundi in any number of the beautiful rivers of this region. If you drive the legendary 660 kilometre Gibb River Road Top dirt trail you will drive past many vast cattle stations and be sure to keep an eye out for crocs in the beautiful rivers.
